ALTUM cooperation with risk investment companies and business incubators
Risk investment companies
In spring of 2007, ALTUM received an offer to make cooperation with a risk capital fund „Otrais Eko fonds”, by attracting capital to the fund and the required specialists for financing new and fast growing enterprises.
As for instance, in case of recently established enterprises, there are situations, when an entrepreneur has received an ALTUM loan, tested the survivability of the business idea and developed a further development plan, implementation of which requires additional funding and probably, consulting support as well. The short company operation history and lack of collateral makes attracting additional loan funding for implementation of the idea impossible.
When a risk capital fund is addressed, it verifies the perspective of the business idea and offers to invest money funds in development of the enterprise. By attracting the fund into the company’s equity capital, the enterprise gains not only financial means, it also enjoys support of experts, increase of reputation, as well as access to the network of the fund’s contacts.
