Loan Programme Of Development of Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Co-operative Unions Providing Agricultural Services
The programme (Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers No 1065, dated 15.09.2009.) finances small and medium enterprises and co-operative unions providing agricultural services that have economically feasible action plans, but cannot access the financing due to high risk they present. The programme is financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Two types of loans are available – for investments and working capital (including credit lines).
The owners of the enterprise owning at least 10% of the shares shall be attracted in the capacity of guarantors.
Enterprises experiencing financial difficulties and enterprises with tax debts are not eligible for loans.
The working capital and investment loans taken together may not exceed 300 000 lats for one entrepreneur.
Loans having insufficient collateral are entitled to the guaranties of the European Investment Fund (EIF).
