To encourage private sector investment in research and development, a loan is available to entrepreneurs for technology development, prototyping and technology transfer. The loan is intended for R&D projects carried out in one of the RIS3 areas. The eligible costs of the loan are investments in material and non-material assets, as well as expected wage costs.<\/p>\n

\n * The loan may be up to 5 years if the investment is for the purchase or construction of a laboratory, cleanroom or specialised R & D infrastructure.\n\n\n\nThe aid is granted as de minimis aid in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 2023\/2831 of 13.12.2023 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid.
