projects aimed at improving industrial capabilities, implemented in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 48 of 3 February 2026, <a href=\"https:\/\/likumi.lv\/ta\/id\/366254\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cRegulations on Support for Projects for the Improvement of Industrial Capabilities\u201d<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The support is intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, large companies, small mid-cap companies, and mid-cap companies implementing military or dual-use product projects.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>A total funding of EUR 35,000,000 has been allocated for the implementation of the program through an open project application selection process. Support will be provided by the joint stock company Development Finance Institution Altum. Support will be available in the form of loans or parallel loans with a capital rebate of up to EUR 20,000,000 and guarantees with a capital rebate of up to EUR 25,000,000.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>The objective of the support is to promote the enhancement of industrial capabilities and the production of military and dual-use products, including the construction of new factories and the development of infrastructure required for manufacturing.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9346472 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9346472\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>To apply for support:\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The final recipient must submit an application to the Ministry of Defense to obtain an opinion.<\/li>\n<li>After the opinion of the Ministry of Defense has been received, applications will be assessed by a commission established by the Ministry of Economics, which will rank them in order of priority and adopt a decision that will be sent to the final recipient.<\/li>\n<li>Within two months following a positive decision of the commission, the final recipient must submit an application to Altum.<\/li>\n<li>Altum will grant support once a decision has been taken on the allocation of a loan with a capital rebate, a parallel loan with a capital rebate, or a guarantee with a capital rebate.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The project application selection process is planned <strong>from 3 August 2026 until 2 October 2026.\u00a0<\/strong><br \/><br \/><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2d70a48 elementor-widget elementor-widget-altum-employees\" data-id=\"2d70a48\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"altum-employees.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"consultants consultants-bt\" style=\"margin-top: -10px;
