Whistleblowing at ALTUM
ALTUM supports and promotes lawful and ethical whistleblowing regarding potential misconduct or violations in the activities of ALTUM.
Whistleblowing enables individuals to contribute to lawful, ethical, open and transparent governance by exercising the right to report concerns in the public interest.
A whistleblower is a natural person who provides information on a possible violation which may harm the public interests if the person considers this information to be true and it has been obtained while fulfilling the work duties or establishing legal relations related to the fulfilment of work duties or while being in traineeship, and who might be subjected to adverse effects due to the provision of such information.
Anonymous submissions are not considered whistleblower reports. If anonymous information contains sufficient factual substance, ALTUM assesses it as an internal signal or a general submission.
A whistleblower report is classified as information of restricted access.
In accordance with the Whistleblowing Law, ALTUM ensures the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity and protection against retaliation.
Reporting Channels
- By email, submitting the report form signed with a secure electronic signature to trauksme@altum.lv (recommended method).
- By post to Doma laukums 4, Riga, LV-1050, addressed to Development Finance Institution Altum JSC, clearly marking the envelope ‘Whistleblower Report to ALTUM’.
- By depositing the report in the dedicated lockable whistleblower mailbox located in the foyer of the ALTUM building at Doma laukums 4, Riga, which is not subject to video surveillance.
